In this video we want to test a simple but very effective winter shelter idea. This was a quick backyard test, so do not expect our typical woods overnight trip. We wanted to build the shelter with similar materials and equipment which can be found outdoors and inside a backpack. The night temperature was around -10F (-23C). The shelter kept the inside temperature approximately between 35-25F. We are extremely satisfied with this test. The snow can be very good friend in the winter.
